We started out just doing T-shirt printing. I feel like a lot of people’s first business is printing and selling T-shirts. Then we moved on to importing and selling equipment to print T-shirts. We found that was more profitable than printing the T-shirts ourselves, so we started running the machines and basically getting the equipment to other people who were starting out and wanted to start a business.

The bike business, we imported mid-century style furniture. That business was pretty successful right off the bat. I think we made $1 million in our first year, and we were 23, which was awesome. . We’ve been selling bikes full-time for over 10 years now. We really love what we’re doing.
